Canadian Taiko Conferences#
Canada has a lot of experience hosting taiko gatherings for the international and local community.
- Historically, the Vancouver taiko community has organized the Regional Taiko Gathering, which occurred on the off-year from the North American Taiko Conference, held in the USA.
- The Toronto Taiko Festival is held with regularity since 2012
- The 2022 Stronger Together conference was the first to be held in Alberta.
- Hinode Taiko held the Canadian Taiko Conference in the 1990’s, breaking ground in prairie taiko.
